JEE Mains 2023 Counselling - Dates, Eligibility and Fees
JEE Main 2023 Counselling: Recently the JEE Mains Session 2 exam result is out by National Testing Agency on the official site of jeemain.nta.nic.in with a cutoff for the student eligibility for JEE Advanced 2023 exam to get admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GIFTs. Students need to get register with Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) which will conduct JEE Main 2023 Counselling.
The JoSAA Counselling registration will open on June 19th, 2023 (Tentative). Official dates and details will soon be updated on JoSAA’s official site i.e. josaa.admissions.nic.in. The registration will begin online and counseling will conduct in 6 rounds with choice filling preferred by the candidates for their institutes and branches.

JoSAA Counselling Procedure - JEE Mains 2023
JoSAA Counselling 2023- Required Documents
Candidates who have participated in Joint Entrance Exam (Mains) 2023 can register for JoSAA counselling to get admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other GIFTs colleges for B.Tech/B.Arch/B.Tech and B. Planning courses.

JoSAA Counselling 2023- Eligibility
National Testing Agency (NTA) has provided the Admission eligibility for NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, and other GFTIs in the information bulletin. The below data is from JEE Main 2023 Information Bulletin:
JEE Main eligibility for admission to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs, SFIs
The authority will offer admission to BTech/BArch/planning courses in the NITs, IIITs and GFTIs based on All India Rank (AIR). The criteria of 75% marks in class 12 examination (for SC/ST candidates the minimum requirement is 65% in class 12) is likely to be waived off.
JEE Main eligibility criteria for BArch and BPlan admission
- Architecture students have to pass the qualifying examination with 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and 50% in aggregate of the qualifying exam.
- For BPlanning candidates should have passed class XII or qualifying exam with 50% in Mathematics and 50% in aggregate of the qualifying exam.
JEE Main eligibility for other institutions
- The above criteria will also apply to other Technical Institutions participating in counselling through JoSAA/CSAB.
