NEET UG - Upper Age Limit Removed For All Aspirants
One of the common issues faced by aspirants is their age limit for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET). On 11th March 2022, The National Medical Commission (NMC) has removed the upper age limit for all the aspirants who are appearing for The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test(NEET) UG.
Previously the age for the General category was 25 and for other reserve, categories were 30.
At the 4th NMC meeting, the committee decided to remove any upper age limit for aspirants to appear for NEET examinations.
Recently the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya wrote the notification on Twitter
“The National Medical Commission removes the fixed upper age limit for appearing in the NEET-UG examination. The decision will immensely benefit aspiring doctors and further help in strengthening medical education in the country.”
National Testing Agency soon will release the exam date for NEET-UG 2022. You can check the official notification directly from NTA website i.e neet.nta.nic.in..
